Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh led the Indian bowling perfectly as the hosts restricted South Africa to at Thiruvananthapuram in the first T20I on Wednesday.

India went into the match without Jasprit Bumrah in their lineup and made four changes to the squad with Rishabh Pant, Chahar, Arshdeep and Ravichandran Ashwin coming into the lineup.
